Client Brief : To supply a hardware/software solution with which building estimators can create a job sheet for building renovations. The job sheet lists all of the defects and work to be carried out but it was critical for the owners to restrict access to sensitive financial information. This jobbing software uses a commercial cloud based service.
Our Solution : We supplied portable label printers, Windows tablets and software which allows the estimators to create the job sheet, post the work order on a website and then print a label with a QR code which directs the contactor to the appropriate document. The contractor simply scans the QR Code and is taken to the website where the job sheet is stored.
The system uses portable label printers (RPP320) and light weight Windows tablets. Once the job has been created the estimator, using our software, creates a QR code which is then printed onto a label which is affixed to the front door of the premises.
When the contractor arrives on site, he accesses the job order by reading the QR code on his phone or mobile device.
