Client Brief : To supply a hardware/software solution which counts punnets of fruit and provides reporting to ensure that pickers are paid the correct amount for their efforts. The main aim of the project was to reduce administrative costs and improve accuracy.
Our Solution : We supplied a label printer, barcode scanner and software which automatically counted the punnets and provided a summary for each picker. Pickers were supplied with a roll of labels which they applied to each punnet they handled. The punnets were scanned when entering the packing shed and tallies printed at the end of each shift
